KNOWLEDGE OF ANATOMY
Each instructor is trained regarding the anatomy of your hand, your arms and your position when seated. This ensures each teacher will recognize a proper use of the body with the guitar, and may prevent chronic problems associated with incorrect playing positions that guitarists often experience. And, wow! Will your child be able to play!
A HIGH-SKILLED GUITAR TECHNIQUE
CHILDBLOOM students are also taught to read music. This skill opens up music to the studens for a life time of confidence to perform alone or in any type of ensemble. And students are taught to play multiple voices on their one guitar. They learn to play the melody, the rhythm, and a bass line for a sound that feels complete. This maximizes the child’s skill development, and gives them them the components to play any genre they wish to explore.

A REAL CURRICULUM
The Childbloom Guitar Program uses a tested curriculum and structure that makes it easy and fun to teach a high-skill, classical guitar technique, music literacy and musicality to kids as young as 5. This allows the context for total musical development – from building the cognitive musical skills to integrating the adolescent’s social needs.
VOLUNTARY PERFORMANCES
Your Childbloom instructor will seek and encourage performance opportunities for the students. Performing or not performing is a student's choice. Our Teachers encourage student's to play as performing is a skill all it's own. Our Instructor's are on stage with our students in recitals as support when needed.
